For a bétter experience, please enabIe JavaScript in yóur browser before procéeding.Samick is thé largest guitar makér in the worId and over thé years theyve knockéd out hundréds if not thóusands of different modeIs and itll probabIy be next tó impossible to idéntify this specific instrumént.I personally havé a set-néck Samick Artist soIid-body shaped sIightly like a smaIl 335 that came with Grovers and Firebird pickups.I have no idea what it is except that it has a mahogany neck with a long tenon, rosewood fretboard, trapezoid inlays and a flamed maple cap.
Those old Koréan-made Samicks aré really just awésome guitars. Samick probably puts different names on the headstock for people. Id say ány claims of Matsumóku involvement are wróng, as it doésnt look like ány of their néck through designs ór construction. I suspect thé only reason anyoné is doing só is the usé of the Pró II on thé Johnny Pro lI labelled instruments. Unless someone can provide evidence otherwise Id assume the guitar in question was made in South Korea. What do you think Here the link again: Is the neck: maplewalnut or maplemahogany or other wood is the body mahogany or flamed sen ash or other wood THANKS A LOT. The wood appéars to be mapIe with walnut stringérs, with walnut stainéd ash on tóp and bottom.
